The AUDIOGRAM 6 includes separate controls for audio inputs and computer playback for complete control while recording. The unit also has two stereo inputs, stereo and headphone outputs, and a USB jack. One input includes switchable phantom power for using high-quality condenser microphones. The AUDIOGRAM 6 features two XLR combo inputs with built-in preamps and one-knob compression for dialing in the desired sound from microphones and instruments. At last week’s Musikmesse/Pro Light+Sound show in Frankfurt, Germany, Yamaha announced its AUDIOGRAM 6 ($199.99) and AUDIOGRAM 3 ($139.99) USB audio interfaces, which are bundled with Steinberg Cubase AI software.
